Hummus
Hummus
is a quick simple and delicious dip from Middle East for Pita Bread and pita
chips or as one of the fillings for Falafal wrap. Hummus is made of Chick
peas, Tahini (paste of garlic, sesame seeds and lemon)

Chickpeas
Olive Oil
Cumin Powder
Sesame Seeds
Garlic Pods
Lemon Juice
Salt
Parsley Leaves

1 Can
1 Tbsp.
1 Tsp.
1 Tbsp.
3-4 Big
1 tbsp.
To Taste
To Garnish

Method
1.
Drain chickpeas.
Combine remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Add 1/4 cup of
liquid from chickpeas. Blend for 3-5 minutes on low until thoroughly mixed
and smooth.
2. Take this smooth
paste out in a serving bowl.
3. Swirl on some
olive oil and garnish with parsley.
4.
Serve with pita bread, falafel or with saffron rice and
enjoy
