Crispy Okra
Crunchy
munchy crispy okra. Note that the okra must be dry when you slit them else
they become mushy when you cook. Always add spices according to your taste.
The crispy okras go well with just rasam rice or curd rice too. Try out !!!

Vertically Slit Okra
Gram Flour / Besan
Red Chilli Powder
Cumin Coriander Powder
Ginger garlic paste (optional)
Salt
Oil

1 Cup
1 Tbsp.
1 Tsp.
1 Tsp.
½ Tsp.
To Taste
To Deep Fry

Method
1. Take the thinly
vertically slit okra in a bowl. To this add all the dry ingredients. Give a
gentle mix. See that all the okras are coated well. DO NOT ADD WATER.
2. Heat oil to deep
fry.
3. Fry the coated
okras batch by batch. Keep turing the okras while deep frying.
4. Fry the okras to
golden brown. Drain them onto a paper towel.
5. Serve the
crisply fried okra sprinkled with chaat masala with curd.
