Peanut Chaat
Chaat
come in different variety. Here is a unique variety the Peanut Chaat / Salad.
Chaat can be so addictive at times J
It’s a
combination of peanuts, tomatoes, onion and cucumber, mixed with spice
powders. One can always add red chilli powder or minced green chilles.
Instead of lemon juice you can always add grated raw mango which gives a
different flavor too.

Peanuts
Finely Chopped Onion
Finely Chopped Tomato
Finely Chopped Cucumber
Grated Carrot
Minced Ginger
Minced Green Chillies
Chaat Powder
Cumin Powder
Salt
Lemon Juice
Chopped Coriander Leaves

Method
1. Take the raw
peanuts and wash them well. Cook the peanuts with salt and 2 cups of water in
a pressure cooker for 4 whistles.
2. Let the pressure
go. Drain the excess water from the peanuts. Let it cool.
3. Take the drained
peanuts in a bowl. Add salt, chaat powder, cumin powder and salt (to taste).
4. Now add all the
chopped once and add lemon juice too. Mix well.
5. Garnish with
coriander leaves and store brought sev.
6. Serve cool.
