Badam Laddu / Almond Laddu


Almond Treat!!! - a quick, tasty and an easy one. Almond Laddu / Badam Laddu can be made on any occasion! For this Diwali go ahead and treat your near and dear one with this J
 
I like them white in appearance so I blanched the almond, else you can roast the whole almonds and follow the same procedure. These laddus look similar to rava laddus. Try out and like and comment on the post.

Ingredients
 
 
 
Sugar
Desiccated Coconut
Cashew
Raisins
1 Cup
1 Cup
¾ Cup
¼ Cup

Method
1.     Lightly roast the almond for 3-4 minutes.
 
2.     Lightly roast the cashews and desiccated coconut separately for 2-3 minutes. The roasting should be done on low to medium heat. Let them cool.
 
3.     Powder the sugar in a mixer.
4.     Now powder the roasted ingredients together. Let them blend well while you grind them.
 
5.     Take it out in a bowl. Mix well with your fingers.
 
6.     Add raisin to the mixture and start making the laddus.
 
7.     Store the laddu in an air tight container.
