idli. Serve with coconut chutney / sambar.

Semolina / Rava / Sooji
Curd
Baking Powder
Salt
Onion
Garlic
Red Chillies

Method
1. Chop onion
roughly.
2. Heat a little
oil in a pan and sauté onion, red chillies and garlic for 3-4 minutes. Let it
cool. Grind to a smooth paste and set aside.
3. Heat oil in a
pan and do the seasoning. To this add semolina and fry for 3-4 minutes on
medium heat. Let it cool.
4. To the cooled
semolina add curd, salt and baking powder and mix. Add water to adjust the
consistency of the idli batter. Now add the smooth paste of onion and mix
well.
5. Grease the idli
moulds. Pour the idli batter and steam for 20- 25 minutes.
