Bassaaru


Thili saaru / Bassaaru is an accomplishment with Raagi Mudde. Normally this saaru is on Spicer side and made out of drained out excess water of the cooked dal.

Method
1.  Cook dal with sufficient water in a pressure cooker.
 
2.  Add salt, sugar, curry leaves and khara chutney and mix well. To make it more dilute add ½ - ¼ cup of water.
3.  Let it boil. Make the seasoning and pour over the saaru. Put off the stove.
4.  Squeeze lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
