Sweet Poha / Sihi Avalakki
I
usually prepare both Khara Avalakki (Spicy Poha) and Sihi Avalakki (Sweet
Poha) and serve them together (like Chow Chow Bath combination of Upma and
Shira). Sihi Avalakki is also made into “Pancha Kajjaya” for some Poojas by
adding additional ingredients like ghee, Honey and Banana. Even this
variation is yummy to eat! Another delicacy from Udupi.
