Oats Sandwich Dhokla
Healthy
snack/breakfast that you can enjoy without guilt – Oats Sandwich Dhokla! All
at my home love this. While typical Dhokla is prepared with besan or semolina,
this is a variant with Oats as key ingredient. Heard this recipe from one of
my friends - Latha.

1.
Dry roast oats
and rava separately for 5 minutes on low to medium flame. Set them aside.
2.
Chop the chilli
to small pieces.
3.
Whisk curd and
water, add salt, ginger, green chillies and turmeric powder.
4.
To a mixing bowl
add roasted oats and rava. To this add the curd mixture above and mix well.
Now add baking soda and give a quick mix to get Idly batter consistency.
5.
Grease a flat
bottomed vessel. To this pour half the batter. Now spread green chutney,
sprinkle carrot and green peas evenly. Pour the rest of the batter on top of
this now.
6.
Bake in a cooker

7.
Cut the baked

Heat a

and then add curry leaves, slit green chillies and asafetida to prepare the
seasoning.
9.
Pour the
seasoning on the dhokla.
10. Enjoy Dhokla with hot and sour chutney and green
chutney.
