Jolada
Dose / Jowar Dosa is one more variety of Dosa for Dosa lovers and who would
want to try an alternative to Rice based Dosa. Jowar is again a healthy
alternative to rice for diabetics. Tastes and looks similar to regular Dosa.

Ingredients

Urad Dal
Methi / Fenugreek seeds
Jowar Flour/ Jolada Hittu
Salt
Oil

1 Cup
1 Tsp.
2 Cup
To taste
As
required

Method
1. Soak Urad Dal
and Methi together for 2-3 hours.
2. Drain the water
and grind Urad Dal and Methi to a smooth paste (with just enough water to
grind to a paste).
3. Add Jowar Flour to
the above paste and blend to homogenous paste.
4. Let this batter
ferment in a vessel.
5. Add salt and
water if required for Dosa consistency.
6. Pour dosa on the
griddle and roast/cook on both the sides.
7. Enjoy hot and
crispy dosa with Chutney/ Chutney powder or Sambar.
