Bean Mix
Curry is a healthy and yummy side dish that goes well with Pooris and
Chapatis. Combination bean mix is avaialble in department stores. I have used the same bean mix even in the bean soup.

Ingredients

Bean Mix
Onion
Tomato
Green Chillies
Ginger Garlic paste
Turmeric Powder
Garam Masala
Salt
Lime/Lemon Juice

Method
1. Chop Onions and
tomatoes (separately) finely. Slit green chillies.
2. Soak bean mix in
water overnight. Drain the water. Add fresh ¼ cup water and pressure cook for
2 whistles.
3. Heat oil in pan.
Add cumin seeds, let them crackle. Add dry fenugreek leaves. Immediately add
chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
4. Add ginger
garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes.
5. Add dry powders
with salt and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4
minutes.
6. Mix the cooked
bean mixture and cook till done.
7. Adjust the
consistency to your desire.
8. Garnish with
coriander leaves and squeeze lime juice and serve.
