Red Capsicum and Tomato Chutney


Red capsicum and tomato chutney is red in color due to the capsicum and tomato. One of the countless varieties of chutney. Goes well with hot rice. This recipe is shared and photographed by Jhansi. Thank you again.

Tomato
Grated Coconut
Red Chillies
Garlic
Tamarind Paste
Salt
Oil

Method
1.  Cut tomatoes and capsicum into small cubes. Cut chillies too.
2.  Heat a little oil in a pan add the capsicum, tomatoes and chillies and cook till done but not mushy.
3.  Let it cool.
4.  Grind the cooked capsicum with coconut,  tamarind, salt and garlic.
5.  Do the above seasoning and pour over the chutney.
