Bisi Bread Uppitu / Bread Upma
Bread
Upma is easy and quick recipe. Can prepare with some left over bread too. You
can also crumble the bread too instead of making square pieces. I use any
variety of bread to make this upma (whole wheat, white bread or multigrain
bread)

Curry Leaves

Method
1. Cut the bread
slices into small square pieces.
2. Chop tomato and
onion finely and slit green chillies.
3. Heat oil in a
pan and do the above seasoning.
4. Add curry
leaves, green chillies and chopped onions to the seasoning and sauté on
medium flame for 3-4 minutes. Add chopped tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Add salt and
sugar and mix well.
6. To this add the
cut bread slices and gently mix them. Add lemon juice and mix again.
7. Sauté them on
and off till crisp. It’s up to you if you want it soft or little crispy.
8. Garnish with
coriander leaves and serve hot.
Note: i have added a handful of sprouts too while garnishing.
