Aloo
Tikki is a “Popular Indian Snack”. Boiled potatoes mixed with spices and made
into a patty. Crushed green peas (fresh/frozen) can also be mixed while
making this patty. Also called Aloo Cutlet. Can be served with green chutney
or tomato ketchup.

Method
1. Boil the potatoes. Peel and mash them and set
aside.
2. Cut the slices of bread and powder them with the
help of blender.
3. In a mixing bowl mix the mashed potatoes, bread
crumbs, salt, garam masala, cumin pwd, turmeric pwd, green chillies, chopped
coriander leaves and lime juice.
4. Mix well with hands.
5. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape
them into small round flat tikkis / patties.
6. Heat the skillet and shallow fry each tikki both
the side using oil and cooking them till they turn golden brown and crispy.
7. Serve them hot.
