Ajwain Paratha
Ajwain
are good for digestion. Ajwain parathas are simple to prepare and mildly
flavored with Ajwain and go well with any curry / side dish.

Ingredients
|
Wheat Flour
Ajwain / Carom Seeds
Curd
Turmeric Powder
Salt
Oil
|
2 Cups
2 Tsp.
¼ Cup
½ Tsp.
To Taste
As required

Method
1.
In a mixing bowl
take floor, curd, salt, turmeric powder and ajwain. Mix well with you hand.
Now add water little by little and make soft dough. Apply oil to the dough
and cover it and let it stay for 15-20 minutes.
Note: Crush Ajwain in palm before
adding. This enhances the flavor. You can also add 1 Tsp. of crushed/grated
garlic to enhance the flavor.
2. Now divide the dough into ping pong size balls.
3. Roll them into small circles and apply a little
oil and fold them.
4. Dust with some flour and roll them to desired
size and shape (Triangular or Circular etc.)
Note:
Make the Paratha little thicker than the usual Chapati.
5. Heat the skillet. On the skillet, cook the
Paratha on both sides with a little oil till you get light brown
spots/blisters.
6. Serve hot with any curry or pickle and curd.
