Uppu Huli Dosa


Unique Mangalore/Udupi Style dosa which is tangy and sweet.

Bengal gram / Chana Dal / Kadale Bele

Method
 
1.    Dry roast dry red chilli and the fenugreek seeds and set aside.
 
2.   Now grind the soaked rice along with coconut (fresh or frozen), coriander seeds and the roasted fenugreek seeds and red chillies.
3.   Add water as required and grind to a smooth paste.
 
4.   Pour batter into a container and now add tamarind pulp (approximately ¼ tsp.), jaggery and salt according to taste.
5.   Heat the Tava and pour the dosas.
6.   Goes well with butter and vadu mango pickle
