Poha with Crushed Peanuts
Poha / Beaten Rice/ Flattened Rice are dehusked rice. These
dry flakes thicknesses vary. Here to make this poha thick variety is used.

way to prepare Poha……

Poha / Beaten Rice
Onion
Tomato
Green Chilli
Roasted Peanuts
Turmeric Powder
Oil
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Lemon Juice
Salt
Sugar

Urad Dal
Chana Dal
Cumin Seeds

A Pinch

Method
1.
The variety of poha should
be thick.
2.
Crush the roasted peanuts
roughly.
3.
Chop onion and tomato to
small pieces.
4.
Slit green chilli
5.
Rinse poha with water for
2-3 times.
6.
Drain the water and set it
aside.
7.
On a medium flame, heat oil
in a pan add mustard when it starts to splatter add Urad dal, Chana dal,
cumin seeds and sesame seeds lastly add asafetida.
8.
Now add green chilli, onion
and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
9.
Add tomato, curry leaves
turmeric powder salt and sugar and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
10.
Add the poha and fluff them
nicely and mix well.
11.
Sprinkle water and cook for
a couple of minutes.
12.
Add the crushed peanuts and
lemon juice and mix well.
13.
Cook for 2-3 minutes and
switch of the stove.
14.
Garnish with coriander
leaves
