Oats Rava Dosa
I bet you all have tasted n variety of dosas… well here is
one more to add to that list – Oats Rava Dosa. Oats Rava Dosa tastes as good
or even better than Rava Dosa but with Oats as alternative to Rice for those
looking to reduce rice intake. You will however need a bit of patience

Ingredients
|
Oats
Fine Semolina / Sooji
All Purpose Flour / Maida
Green Chillies
Cumin Seeds
Curd
Grated Ginger
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Oil

2 Cups
¾ Cup
¼ Cup
2
½ Tsp.
½ Cup
1 Tsp.
1 Tsp.
1 Tbsp.
To Taste
As Needed

Method
1.
Microwave oats for a minute or so. Powder it after it cools.
2.
Chop finely the green chillies, curry leaves and coriander
leaves.
3.
In a mixing bowl add all the above ingredient except oil and
add enough water to make a thick batter without any lumps.
4.
Let the batter stay for at least 30 minutes.
5.
Dilute the batter with more water just like rava dosa
consistency.
6.
Heat the skillet high to medium flame.
7.
Pour the dosa in a circular motion and then fill the center.
8.
Drizzle oil and cook it on medium flame.
9.
Flip the dosa and cook for another minute.
10. Serve hot with chutney
or sambar.
