Crispy Tengul
Crispy and quick snack when you feel like having
something with Tea. Kids will love the taste and also the different wiggly
shapes.

Ingredients
|
Rice Flour
Urad Flour / Uddina Hittu
Roasted gram Flour / Putani Hittu
Melted Butter
Sesame seeds (white)
Cumin seeds
Salt
Oil

To taste
To deep fry

Method
1.
Mix all the flours together in a mixing bowl
2.
Add melted butter, salt, cumin seeds and sesame seeds.
3.
Add water little by little to make a stiff dough
4.
Keep oil ready to deep fry.
5.
Now take a Murukku maker which has different attachment
plates, the one used here is with some 4-5 hole in it.
6.
Take a small amount of dough and fill the maker.
7.
Now with the help of the top mould of the maker press the
dough directly into the hot oil.
8.
Fry them until done or golden brown.
9.
Drain them on a paper towel.
10. Let it cool and store it
in an air tight container.
Note: Make it
spicy with either red chilly powder or green chilly paste in the dough!
