Ingredients

Fresh Coconut
Onion
Ginger
Garlic
Dry Red Chilli
Cumin Seeds
Cashew Nuts
Tamarind pulp
Salt
Sugar
Oil

Method
1.
Roughly chop one onion.
2.
Heat a pan. Add a little oil.
3.
Now add dry red chilli and roast it for 3-4 minutes.
4.
Take out chilli and in the same pan add coconut, cumin seeds,
ginger, garlic, cashew nuts and roughly chopped onion and fry till you get a
nice aroma.
5.
Let it cool.
6.
Grind the fried ingredients to a coarse paste.
7.
Chop another onion into fine pieces.
8.
Now in a pan, heat some oil and fry the finely chopped
onion.
9.
Add the ground paste and let it boil.
10. Add tamarind pulp, sugar
and salt.
11.
Let it cook for 5 more minutes.
12. Garnish with coriander
leaves.
