Rice
Carrot Grated
Onion Chopped
Green Chilli
Cumin Seeds
Clove
Cinammon
Fennel Powder
Garam Masala Powder
Ghee
Oil

Method
1.
Cook rice separately and fluff the cooked rice with a fork
to separate each grain.
2.
In a cooking pan heat
ghee + oil, add cumin seeds, clove and cinnamon and stir fry them.
3.
Slit the green chillies and add.
4.
Now add chopped onions and stir fry for 4-5 minutes on a
medium flame.
5.
Add ground masala and stir fry for 4-5 minutes.
6.
Mix in Garam Masala and fennel seed powder and toss.
7.
Add grated carrot and fry in medium to low flame for 5 minutes.
Add salt and mix well.
8.
Reduce heat and add the cooked rice and mix well. Cook for
2-3 minutes and switch off the stove.
9.
Squeeze in lemon and mix. Garnish with spring onion and
cashew nuts.
10. Serve with Raita or any
coconut gravy
