Method:

1.        With a little oil, roast all the spices till you get nice aroma.

2.       After it cools down, add coconut to the spices and grind it into a smooth paste and set aside.
3.       Cook dal separately and set aside.
4.       In a large cooking pan put the diced vegetables, add approximately 4-5 cups of water and cover it with a lid and cook in on a medium flame.
5.       Add washed and drained rice as soon as the vegetables start to boil.

6.       After about 10 minutes add the cooked dal, ground masala and then add the tomatoes (diced).

7.       Mix well and cook it for 10 minutes.
8.       Now add the butter, tamarind pulp and salt and mix well.
9.       In a separate pan make the seasoning with mustard. Now add diced onions and stir fry till the onions turn pink in color.
10.    Pour the onions into the Bisibele bath.

11.     Keep the lid covered and cook the rice till it is done.
12.    Garnish with Coriander leaves and roasted Cashew nuts.
13.    Serve the Bisibele Bath hot with Papad and Raita (Mosuru Gojju).
